Ms Sullivan (Headteacher)
I feel extremely honoured to have been chosen as the newly appointed Headteacher of St Margaret's C of E Primary School, Greenwich, London. I'm privileged to have the opportunity to build upon the success the school has already achieved.
I have worked in education within the Royal Borough of Greenwich for nearly 25 years and I am very passionate about giving children the best offer possible. My vision is to ensure that the needs of all our children are met in all areas of school life. Each child needs to be given a wealth of experience and opportunities to succeed in what they do. This, in turn, will guarantee they leave St Margaret’s feeling confident, responsible, and self-assured members of society, ready for their secondary school journey.
Child-centred approach
I believe that school should be a happy, caring, spiritual, respectful, and hardworking environment. A place in which all staff utilise their skills to enable the children in their care to recognise their true potential and talents in the classroom, during sporting activities or through other enrichment opportunities. As a community, we should celebrate the successes of our children in all areas of school life and beyond. We can do this by showing them that we believe in them, respect them and are proud of them.
I feel that it is important that parents and carers know that we have time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts about the school. You can be assured that as Headteacher, I will strive to ensure we all provide the best education for each child, as a member of our school family. I look forward to watching your children grow in confidence, knowledge, and spirituality during their time at St Margaret’s.
Kind regards
Anna Sullivan, Headteacher
