the school day

Nursery

The morning session is from 8.55 am until 11.20 am

The afternoon session is from 12.30 until 2.55 pm

  1. Children should arrive at school each morning via the gate to Nursery between
    8.40 am and 8.50 am. They will then go straight into class. Children will wash their hands as soon as they enter the classroom. 
  2. Parents and carers must observe social distancing at all times and ensure they leave the premises promptly to avoid the build-up of a crowd.

Reception  

The morning session is from 8.50 until 12 noon

The afternoon session is from 1.00 - 3.10 pm

Key Stage 1

The morning session is from 8.50 until 11.30 am

The afternoon session is from 12.30 - 3.05 pm

Key Stage 2

The morning session is from 8.50 until 12.30 am

The afternoon session is from 1.00 until 3.10 pm (Years 3 and 4) and 1.00 until 3.15 pm (Years 5 and 6)

Arrival and Pick Up Times

  1. Children should arrive at school each morning between 8.35 am and 8.50 am. They will then go straight into class to be supervised by a member of staff. Children will wash their hands as soon as they enter the classroom. Parents will have to leave their child at the school gate which will be supervised by a senior member of staff. Lessons will begin promptly at 8.50 am.
  2. Parents and carers must observe social distancing at all times and ensure they leave the premises promptly to avoid the build-up of a crowd.

 Arrival and Collection Points

There are  two points of entry at the start of the day:

  • Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 will enter through the main school gate.
    Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 will enter through the car park gate next to the Nursery.
  • Please say goodbye to your child at the gate and they will go straight to their classroom supervised by school staff.

At the end of the day, parents and carers will enter the school site and will be directed to the collection point for their child.
