Reception Open Days
Come and see why our children love to learn with us and what we can offer your child.
Click on the link below to complete the form to book a day and time slot for a Reception Open Day visit.
These Open Days are for if your child was born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022. Following your visit you will need to apply to The Royal Borough Greenwich Admissions Team for a place in our Reception class for September 2026.
The deadline for on time Reception applications is 15th January 2026. The Royal Borough of Greenwich will inform you of the outcome of your application on 16th April 2026.
When you visit St Margaret's CE Primary School, you will have the opportunity to:
- Visit our Reception classroom and brand new Reception outdoor learning space.
- Meet staff including our Headteacher, SLT, Reception staff, SENCo & Wellbeing team.
- Find out about a typical day in Reception and what and how your child will be learning.

Take a tour of the school including classrooms, hall, playgrounds, forest school, community library, sensory room, music room and wellbeing room.
- Meet our new school dog, the chickens and the turtles
