Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
St Margaret's Church of England Primary School has been serving the children of Plumstead and the surrounding areas since 1856. Many families attend our school because we are a Christian school with a strong Anglican tradition; however, our culturally rich and diverse school community includes those from other faiths and of no faith. Our Christian values such as Friendship, Compassion, Humility and Forgiveness underpin everything that we do. Our children are happy to come to school, have excellent attendance and live out these values in their everyday lives.
Our school has recently undergone a major expansion programme so that we can increase our annual intake to 60 children. The project design has skillfully retained the history and tradition of our original Victorian building whilst integrating new buildings and facilities fit for the 21st century. This is an exciting time in our school's history.
If you are a prospective parent, please contact the school to make an appointment to come and meet me or a member of our leadership team, to look around and ask us about how we will meet the educational and social needs of your child. We are proud of our reputation as an inclusive school and see every child as unique and made in God's image.
I look forward to meeting you.
